St. Lukes launched a new rental housing portal to make it easier for current and prospective employees to find a home in this complicated market.
St. Lukes said rental property owners “frequently” contact the medical group about available properties for employees. Now with the housing portal, this transaction is completely online rather than through each individual St. Lukes’s location.
“We are beyond grateful to homeowners who have offered their rentals to our staff. It often makes a difference in our ability to hire or retain our employees in this challenging housing market,” St. Luke’s McCall Chief Operating and Nursing Officer Amber Green said.
The portal can be found here, on St Luke’s Health Systems website. It is an efficient way to connect landlords with employees.
Homeowners can submit housing information to the website where it will be shared with employees, potential employees, and contracted employees who need housing. The website lets homeowners share both short- and long-term rentals.
The website is designed for it to be easy to remove and add rentals from the portal.
“We often are not aware of employees’ needs for housing unless they reach out to us directly. The new online rental matchmaking site will not only help us streamline homeowner’s offerings, it will allow us to share this information more broadly with our employees,” Green said.
