Just in time for the busy holiday weekend, the Boise Airport is rolling out its new valet service.
Beginning Friday, July 1, passengers at the airport will have the option of valet parking for $21 per day.
The valet drop-off will be located at the east end of the upper-level departure curb and will be available from 4 a.m. to 1 a.m., and later if necessary. To use the service, passengers drop off their keys and provide their name, number, and flight information to the attendant. Once passengers return from their trip, they simply text the attendant upon arrival.
“We are constantly looking for ways to improve our passengers’ experience at the Boise Airport,” said Airport Director Rebecca Hupp. “We’re excited to offer this new, ultra-convenient option that will save people time and make parking at the airport easier than ever.”
Initially, the valet parking will launch as a drive-up service but come mid-July, passengers will be able to make reservations through the airport’s website.
The new service is being offered through a partnership between the Boise Airport and a locally-based company The Car Park.
The airport is in the midst of a multi-year expansion, which has limited parking capacity.
