The new expansion of the Boise Centre is mostly complete – and the added convention space gives the downtown area a boost.

Unlike the existing, mostly-windowless convention center, this expansion features lots of natural light. The fourth floor location also gives some perspective to downtown – with views in all directions.

The convention space stretches across the length of the block – into the Clearwater Building, as well as the dedicated building. It provides more space than you might first think – and gives the center a different feel. The addition is about 38,000 square feet – which just less than doubles the overall convention space.

It includes:

  • 14,000 square foot ballroom, dividable into three sections
  • 12,750 square feet of meeting space that is dividable
  • 4,200 square feet of pre-function and lobby space
