How to use Boise’s new bus station

Valley Regional Transit hopes to open its new Main Street Station transit hub in the basement of the new Clearwater Building at City Center Plaza in October.

The underground bus station will feature eight bays for buses and will allow commuters a protected place to board and switch buses.  Once open, traffic flow will change for about a block on Capitol Blvd, with buses going against traffic.  A special stop light will also be added on Main Street that will be for buses only.
