Big homes project slated for Warm Springs Ave.

Boise’s Warm Springs Ave. will get a big batch of homes, if a proposal by a developer is approved.

Developer Bill Clark hopes to build 60 houses on a plot of land at the base of the Warm Springs Mesa at Warm Springs & Windsong, according to an application filed with the City of Boise.

The project – known as Warm Springs Village – would feature the majority of its lots lined up along Warm Springs, served with an alley way in the back.  Just less than half of the homes would be along a newly-constructed Boulder View Ln. that would branch off Warm Springs. It sits on a total of 14 acres.

The site is close to the Warm Springs Golf Course and is currently an empty patch of sagebrush.

The project is seeking a conditional use permit from the City of Boise and will have to go through the usual review process. First stop is a scheduled October 10th meeting in front of Planning and Zoning at Boise City Hall.
