City Center Plaza lights up: take a tour, see new skyline addition

BOISE – There’s a new addition to the Boise skyline.

If you think we’re talking about the City Center Plaza – you are partially correct.  With the new Clearwater Building and Boise Centre East buildings mostly tucked in behind other structures – there’s one big new beacon that will be seen for miles around.

The US Bank Building (now considered part of City Center Plaza) has been adorned with a permanent color-changing light on its rim.  For years, the building has been decorated with a large Christmas tree and string of (usually) white lights during the holidays – but the new strip is designed to match the decoration of the nearby Zions Bank Building, which is also owned by Gardner Co.
