According to the latest market report from Thornton Oliver Keller, the Boise market saw its fifth straight month of increased retail vacancies – driven largely by the closure of five Hastings stores in the area, as part of the retailer’s bankruptcy.

Hastings left 107,000 square feet empty – including on Boise Ave, Fairview Ave, Overland Rd. and in Nampa.

The vacancy rate now stands at 8.6%, according to TOK.
