The small bar space below a tattoo parlor and across from KBOI-TV has been home to a wide variety of concepts in recent years – from punk rock-themed Crazy Horse to indie-bar Red Room , to R&B concept JD’s & Friends and even hippie bastion Terrapin Station. Heck, it was even for sale on Craigslist at one point.
This time, a cyclist-friendly bar is poised for the spot.
A sign for “Handlebar” is placed in the window, promising “bikes, beer and wine” coming this spring.
Crazy Horse closed last summer after less than a year in operation (in its second incarnation).
No building permits filed for the spot just yet .Watch this space.
