Coiled plans wine bar in Downtown Boise

Coiled Wines is on a roll.

Last year, it joined fellow Snake River Valley winery Telaya with a high-end tasting room in Garden City near the Riverside Hotel.

In January, the winery was featured with a spread in the Seattle Times.

Now the company plans to open a wine bar on Bannock St. in Downtown Boise.

According to filings with the City of Boise, Coiled will remodel the former A Cupcake Paradise location on Bannock next to Even Stevens near 8th Street.

The $18,000 remodel will revamp the small 913 square foot space with room for about 50 patrons. Wine tasting and retail will be offered.

Another winery, Snake River Winery recently closed its location on Broad St. which will be replaced with an artisanal ice cream shop.
