The Shige Steakhouse on the second floor of the Capital Terrace building is set to close – and be replaced by Ramen Sho, according to filings with the City of Boise.
The new restaurant is said to feature “authentic Japanese ramen noodles” with a May, 2017 hoped-for opening date.
Shige had been listed for sale last year, with the owners said to be retiring.

The owners of Boise Fry Company announced they would open “RamaPong” in the basement of their space on Capitol Blvd. last summer. The opening was delayed, but was said to still open in 2016. That didn’t happen – and no permits have been filed for the space.
