Oregon-based variety store Bi-Mart is planning to expand its presence in the Treasure Valley.

The retailer plans to add a store in Kuna this fall, with another location in Star next spring.

These will be the third and fourth locations for Bi-Mart in Idaho, after Emmett and Weiser.  Stores are generally in smaller towns across Oregon and Washington – though it has a few locations in the Portland metro area.

The Kuna store is working is planned for Deer Flat Rd. near Meridian Rd. behind a Ridley’s store. It will be 32,000 square feet and will include a garden center among other amenities, according to filings with the City of Kuna.

Details on the Star location are not immediately available.

Bi-Mart is perhaps best known for its presenting sponsorship and organization of the Mountain Home Country Music Festival which is headlined this year by Luke Bryan and Keith Urban.
