Get your bib: Cajun seafood restaurant sets Idaho location

Hook and Reel Seafood is set to open in the Meridian Crossroads center at Eagle Rd. and Fairview Ave. in Meiridan, according to signage on the restaurant and a leasing flyer from the center’s developer.

The concept features cajun seafood – with selections like crab, shrimp, clams and more – plus po‘ boys, sliders, soups and salads. It’s all served up finger-food style – with “no plates, no forks, no rules.”

Most outlets also feature a full liquor bar with martinis, shooters and margaritas.

No building permits have been filed just yet, but Hook and Reel is set for the former Whitewater Pizza and Pasta location next to Panda Express.

Hook and Reel has three stores open on the east coast, but is teasing dozens more as coming soon on its website.

The marketing flier notes the restaurant is expected to be open by Spring of 2019.
