Downtown lunch, brunch and dinner spot Wild Root Café and market is planning an expansion.
City filings show Wild Root plans to relocate an internal stairway to allow for both a larger kitchen and more seating.
Right now, Wild Root has room for about 49 people, and can be packed during weekday lunch. After the expansion, there will be room for 74 people with an extra 400 square feet.
Anne-Marie Trebbi and her husband Michael opened Wild Root on 8th St. along Downtown’s Restaurant Row in 2015, with a menu focused on healthy, friendly fare. The selections focus on local ingredients with a seasonal changing New American-style menu.
