Freddy’s freezes Broadway store, another location for lease

Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers has closed its location on Broadway Ave. in Boise after just less than two years in business.

The restaurant, serving ice cream, burgers and the like in a retro environment, opened next to Sonic Drive In in May of 2016.

Another location, on Cleveland Blvd. in Caldwell, is also for lease.

The chain tells BoiseDev locations in Meridian and Eagle will remain open, but didn’t immediately answer a question about the Nampa or Caldwell eateries.

A question about the reason for the closure went unanswered.

The Broadway  building was listed for lease last week by Colliers Commercial Real Estate, and the business officially closed Sunday.
