Something more slated for old Gas For Less

The former Gas For Less Food Mart convenience store and Tesoro fuel center in Southeast Boise closed last month. It left neighbors of the store at Boise Ave. and Gekeler Ln. to wonder what was happening.

Now, Jacksons Food Stores has applied to build its 90th location in Idaho in its place.

The Boise-based convenience and fuel giant will remodel the 2,500 square foot c-store with a building permit valued at $165,000, according to filings with the City of Boise.

According to Ada County records, Jacksons Food Stores acquired the property in 2017.
