AppDetex, which provides brand monitoring and enforcement services, is set to consolidate its headquarters into an old candy warehouse in Boise.
The company has applied to remodel a 10,843 square foot space in the old Idaho Candy Co. Warehouse building a 508 S. 8th St., next to Trailhead. (Not to be confused with the Idaho Candy Co. manufacturing facility a block away).
The building popped up in 1939 according to Idaho State Historical Society records. It has remained vacant in recent years. It more recently served as
AppDetex was founded in 2012 by Faisal Shah, who previously co-founded MarkMonitor, a similar business based in Meridian, now owned by Clarivate Analytics.
