Ā Café, a cafe, to open in Downtown Boise

The Kount building at 10th and Main will have a trio of food tenants with descriptive names.

  • Bodega Boise, a bodega in Boise.
  • Good Burger, a place that sells (good) burgers.
  • And now, Ā Café, which is… well… a cafe.

Permits indicate the new Ā Café will sprout up at 111 S. 10th St. It will have seating for about 48 people in a variety of configurations – including counter, bar and table seating. The front door windows along 10th St. will be revamped to include a roll up garage-style door.

The project is described as “Simple and familiar, cozy and welcoming, delicious and wholesome.”

Menu items teased including house-made granola, sandwiches, coffee, tea, soups, salads, avocado toast and more – though a full menu isn’t yet posted.

The permit filings indicate the cafe will be open for lunch and dinner service. Owners hopes to be open this spring.
