Construction is under way on a new secure bike facility in a Downtown Boise parking garage.
The Capital City Development Corporation is building the “BikeBOI” secure bike facility on the ground floor of its 9th & Main parking garage (commonly known as the Eastman garage).
The project will bring a secured storage area for bikes, as well as a number of extra features.
It will include “key card secure access, security video, dynamic lighting, secured racks to lock to, bike repair tools, and outlets for e-bike charging,” CCDC said on its project website.
The new facility will cost about $150,000. It it set to be open this spring.
