Growing Boise fraud and risk management software startup Kount cut the ribbon on its new headquarters downtown Thursday.
The company moved into the 100-year-old Langroise Building last month after a top to bottom remodel. Sawtooth Development spearheaded the project to bring life to the vacant four-story building. It even added a fifth story and rooftop deck with sweeping foothills views.
The interior mixes the original concrete structure with modern touches.
The ground floor features a variety of retail tenants, including Neckar Coffee, Good Burger, Bodega Boise and a forthcoming wine shop.
Kount employs 160 people and moves from space it outgrew on Lusk St. near the Boise River.
“Kount is a homegrown Idaho company, and we are proud to cheer them on as they continue down a path of expansion,” Gov. Brad Little said in a statement provided by Kount. “Companies like Kount are creating jobs and demonstrating that Idaho is a place where innovation thrives.”
