6 On Your Side reports the Pix Theater continues to inch closer to reopening.
Debbie Lasher-Hardy bought The Pix in 2016 according to the Idaho Press after a long non-profit effort to get the project back up and running lost steam. The theater closed in 1999 after a 53-year run.

KIVI reports crews are working to paint the exterior of the building. Hardy told the station she’s worked to get the interior cleared out and ready for a new buildout. She envisions dinner theater, music and other events. Hardy hopes to open the building in the next few years – but it is dependent on funding.
