Old W. Boise gas station site to be a gas station again

A former Jacksons Shell station on Fairview Ave. and Five Mile Rd. will soon fuel up cars once again.

Crews tore the one-time Circle K store down in 2010 – and the lot stood vacant for nearly a decade.

[Old Bench school site was going to be a Maverik. Now, a very different plan is forming]

Last year, Maverik Inc. passed design review for a large new conveience store and fuel station on the site. Now, the City of Boise issued a building permit and crews will work to build the new station.

Plans show the new Maverik store oriented toward Five Mile Rd., with fuel canopies internal to the site along Fairview Ave. The c-store will measure nearly 7,400 square feet.

Maverik first applied to build a station on the site in 2016, but let its permit expire. The new plan is for a larger building.
