Vet hospital plans new location in Barber Valley

Habitat Veterinary Hospital filed plans with the City of Boise for a new location on Barber Valley Drive.

Filings show plans for a 5,900 square foot hospital building, just to the west of Boise Dance Alliance. The plan notes future expansion of 1,500 square feet, but for now, a large landscaped grass area will sit between the vet hospital and dance studio building.

The project will have space to park 37 cars and ten bicycles. Boise guidelines require space for 21 cars and four bikes.

The project is the latest proposal for the Barber Station development, which includes Pivot by KA, Hollywood Market Yoga, Saltzer Medical and other planned projects. A proposed location for The Tavern didn’t materialize, and the restaurant elected to renew its lease in Bown Crossing.

Habitat currently has a location just across the river on Bown Way in Bown Crossing.
