Regal Cinemas, which operates the Edwards Cinemas chain of movie theaters – rolled out a new monthly Moviepass-type offering this month.

Regal Unlimited allows theatergoers to pay a flat monthly fee for all-you-can-watch flicks across the Regal chain. The program offers three tiers – Unlimited, Unlimited Plus and All Access.

The different tiers unlock access to different theaters. In the Boise area, all the Edwards locations show up on the chain’s cheapest tier – Unlimited.

That pass costs $18 per month, and allows the cardholder to watch as many movies as they want, as often they want. Surcharges for IMAX and other premium screenings run from $1.50 to $3 per ticket.

The program also offers 10% off concessions and a free popcon and drink on your birthday.

Regal Edwards operates four local locations – including in Downtown Boise, at Boise Spectrum, Nampa Gateway and Nampa Spectrum.
