Just a year after opening its doors on 8th Street, self-pour beer bar Brü called it quits.

The small bar, in the former Jamba Juice space in the Main + Marketplace development, stopped serving last week. Several BoiseDev readers noted it didn’t open for business this past weekend. Several stops by this week didn’t show any activity inside.

We reached out to the Brü folks but didn’t hear back.

Hawkins Companies, which owns the building, posted up a for lease sign in the window this week for the 1,389 square foot space.

Brü served up beer from self-pour taps similar to those found for wine at Bodovino. It also served a selection of pizzas and beer. The establishment added a full liquor license this spring, according to state records.

(Thanks, Andrew for the tip!)
