National cosmetics retailer Sephora applied for a tenant improvement next to The Buckle. The large, previously empty space will house a 5,270 square foot store for Sephora. The retailer features upscale makeup, beauty and skincare products. The chain has more than 400 standalone as well as 600 locations inside JCPenney stores. This will be the fourth location in the Treasure Valley – including two at Boise Towne Square and one at the Nampa Gateway.

After the closure of Charming Charlie this summer, Holiday Nest plans to open its doors in the same spot. The Nest home furnishings store, based in Eagle, will open a holiday decor store. The pop-up location will open its doors next week and welcome shoppers through the holidays.

Restore Cryotherapy plans to take over the former Mattress Firm store along Eagle Rd. This will be Retore’s first Idaho location. It offers IV drip, hyperbaric chambers, compression and other cosmetic services. Restore will open in early 2020.

Van’s, the national retailer of shoes and accessories, will take over the former Walla Walla Clothing Co store next to Lululemon. Walla Walla moved back to Downtown Boise this summer. Van’s also has a store at Boise Towne Square. The latest location will be open in time for the holiday season.

Jensen Jewelers of Twin Falls will open in the former Gymboree spot. Gymboree closed all its stores nationwide earlier this year. Jensen launched in 1956, and features a full-service jewelry store. This will be the chain’s 8th Idaho location – and second in the Treasure Valley after a store opened in Nampa. The chain will have 15 stores across the region. The Village location will open in November.

Updates

A few updates on previously announced stores:

  • As we reported in April, M. Vince Nail Spa is also coming to the retail center. The spa will open in Early November between MAC and Sephora.
  • Chip Cookies, also previously announced, will be open in early November.
  • Roosters Men’s Grooming and Barber will open in early October.
  • See’s Candies will again operate a seasonal candy store near Grimaldi’s Pizza from Thanksgiving through December.
