The Treasure Valley will soon have a third Tavern restaurant.

Construction is about to wrap up on the Tavern at Eagle Island near the corner of Chinden Blvd. and Linder Rd., near Fred Meyer.

This is the third location for the fine-dining restaurant. The original location anchors the Bown Crossing development in Boise since 2007. A second restaurant opened in Downtown Boise in 2016.

Like the downtown location, the Eagle Island will feature a menu unique to its location. Some dishes repeat from location to location, while others vary. Dishes like Capellini and Lobster and the Beyond Burger highlight the Eagle menu. The restaurant has a full liquor and wine menu, and weekend brunch is also planned.

Tavern joins other new retailers like CUPBOP Korean BBQ and Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt on the corner.

The Tavern’s ownership group applied to build a new location across the river from its Bown Crossing eatery. They ultimately canceled the plan and stayed put in Bown Crossing.
