LocalConstruct, the Los Angeles developer of projects like The Fowler and Watercooler changed its name.
The company will now go by Roundhouse.
“For the past ten years, LocalConstruct has worked to build communities and create the best possible living experience for our residents,” CEO Casey Lynch said. “We’ve identified key emerging cities in the western US and today, operate in California, Idaho, Colorado, and Montana.”
Lynch said the new name “pay(s) homage to this significant community gathering place that historically existed in many town centers.”
LocalConstruct also operates in Colorado and Montana, in addition to Idaho and California.
The company recently acquired the Parkview Apartments next to Ann Morrison Park. It is also developing a large new project in Eagle know as The Clara. That project would add 277 housing units to the site of a former gravel pit.
