You asked: Here’s what is planned at McMillan & Locust Grove

Crews continue work on a new small retail center on the southwest corner of McMillan and Locust Grove. Shape Fitness will occupy about two-thirds of the new building, and the corner space remains for lease.

Possible future tenants include office, retail or restaurant for the so-called Park Crossing project.

In the future, a small coffee shop with patio or drive-thru could also pop up on the corner, according to the leasing flier.

Construction workers should finish the building by the fourth quarter of this year.

The new center sits near a new Maverik convenience store and the site of future development in the growing part of Meridian.
