Drone video shows progress of huge Nampa project

Idaho AGC Going Up

Our friends over at LightBender Media shared this outdoor-to-indoor video of the new Autovol project in Nampa.

Construction crews are building out the $102.5 million project on Star Rd. in Nampa. When complete, the massive 400,000 square foot factory will pump out modular affordable housing units.

Partnering with a robotics company, the plant will use automation to speed up the manufacturing process. Several hundred people will work at the plant in an array of jobs in engineering, project management and a host of construction tasks.

Flying INSIDE!

Short video showing our indoor flying capibilities. This project is HUGE! It will be a mobile home manufacture facility in Nampa Idaho. Enjoy! #lightbendermedia #flyingcameras #drone #dji

The video starts outside, then flies in an opening in the side of the structure and pivots around to show construction contractors working on interior finish tasks.

As BoiseDev first reported earlier this year, Autovol should open in 2020.
