Discovery Center welcomes grownups for another year of Adult Nights

Regence Blue Shield of Idaho

Ever had a drink with a dinosaur?

Me either.

But the Discovery Center of Idaho hopes you’ll join them for a Drink with Tink. Tink — better known as Tinker the T-Rex — is the centerpiece of their current dinosaur-themed exhibit.

January 24th and February 7th from 7-10pm, the Discovery Center will bring out the wristbands and only allow adults 21+ in the doors. In addition to drinks from Lost Grove Brewing and food from Big Jud’s, DCI will have a variety of programming.

VR1 Aracde will do a virtual reality demo with dinosaurs, the Idaho State Museum will feature gold panning, and staff and students from the Boise State geology department will talk about their paleontology work.

Plus, the usual complement of DCI exhibits will be open.

Tickets for each event run $22 in advance of $25 at the door. Proceeds go back into the Discovery Center’s programs and mission.
