Want to own an Idaho mountain resort? One just hit the market

If you’ve ever wanted to own an Idaho mountain resort – this might be your chance.

The Featherville Resort, high in Idaho’s mountains next to the South Fork of the Boise River at the edge of the Sawtooth National Forest is for sale.

Just about two hours from Boise, the resort includes a motel, cafe, trading post, saloon, and more – and the entire thing recently hit the market. Asking price? $1.2 million.

“Featherville was originally an old mining town that has been updated and revitalized. It is peaceful and quiet, with a nighttime sky full of stars so close that you feel like you could reach out and touch them,” a description on the sales listing touts. “Within just a short drive of the resort, there is fishing, boating, a golf course, a ghost town, an old mining town (that is still being mined), several natural lakes located in the Trinity Mountains, lots of 4 wheeling roads and 300 miles of groomed trails for snowmobiling.”

The motel includes 10 rooms, plus a 15 space RV park. The resort also includes a cafe, gift shop, saloon and several other facilities. Several of the buildings saw recent renovations, and host visitors both in the winter and summer seasons.

The owners said a death in the family prompted the sale.
