In April, The JR Simplot Company held a ‘Neighborhood Food Raiser’ in Caldwell and Buhl and gave $10,000 in proceeds to the St. Luke’s Health System COVID Response Fund.
Now, a second fundraiser is planned for Friday, July 10th in Boise and this time, all proceeds will go to the Idaho Food Bank.
“The response to these events has been fantastic and we knew we needed to bring one to Boise near our headquarters,” said Kurt Myers, Vice President, Marketing for Simplot Food Group.

Here’s how you can stock up your freezer while supporting a good cause:
First, head to the Simplot online store. There are two options: a frozen potato bundle and fruit and vegetable bundle. Both $20 and include 2.5 – 5lb bags of food.
Next, you select what time you would like to pick up your bundles on July 10th from between 2-7pm.
The pickup location will be held at the 11th Street & Myrtle parking lot in downtown Boise.
