Last month, BoiseDev told you about plans for the “Suffrage Quilt” by artist Stephanie Inman. It has now been successfully installed on the Main Street side of Boise City Hall.
This year marks the 100th anniversary of the 19th amendment and the right for many women in Idaho to vote.
The art celebrates the many successes of Boise’s Women’s Suffrage Movement. However, it remains unfinished to show there is still work to do.
Trademark Design and Fabrication installed the art.
The Percent-for-Art Fund and the Boise City Council Discretionary Fund funded the project.
