Tamarack ramps up bike park, adds new jumps and tracks

From novice to expert, mountain bikers will soon be able to try the new features at Tamarack’s bike park.

The pump track and jump park were designed for all levels of rides by professional mountain biker and course designer Andrew Taylor.

“What’s great about this new pump track is that groups can ride together without having to split up, no matter their skill level,” said Taylor. “From little kids to professional riders, the park offers something for everyone.”

The pump track offers a circuit of rollers, banked turns and other features including a kids’ zone.

The jump park provides intermediate to advanced riders with four dirt jump lines highlighted by three large six-foot ramps.

Earlier this year, Tamarack launched a new year-round pass which includes summer access to the bike park, yoga classes, guided hikes and equipment rentals.

The grand-opening and ribbon-cutting for the new pump track and jump park will be Aug. 8th from 4-6pm.
