Last year, BoiseDev told you about plans for a new community-owned brewery in the Avimor community north of Boise, just off Idaho Highway 55. Last weekend, Spring Creek Brewing Company opened its doors for business.

“We had an incredible turnout opening weekend and are already booking up for Wednesday and the rest of the week,” co-founder and CEO Marc Grubert said.

The new building includes a seven barrel brewery, wood-fired oven and a restaurant decorated with an “outdoor Idaho” theme.

“We’re truly about the outdoor experience and memories that often get made with good adventure and great beer and food,” Grubert said. “We want folks to come out and enjoy a walk or ride on the trails or parks in Avimor and then grab an artisan pizza and cold beer on our spacious patio and dining space.”

Grubert said they are following Central District Health guidelines to keep staff and guests safe during the pandemic.

“We require our staff to wear cloth face coverings, clean public surfaces and are requesting guests wear face coverings away from their tables.”

Grubert also said they are asking that people use their new reservation system to help them “control traffic flow”.

The brewery will be open Wednesdays through Sundays from 11am to 10pm. They are also hiring for hiring for all positions. For more information, click here.
