Usually, when you visit a car dealership, you know what to expect. Rows of shiny vehicles. A sales office. People on golf carts hoping to sell a vehicle.

But one new area car dealer adds a unique element to the mix. An off-road test track.

BoiseDev first told you about the new Subaru dealership at the Idaho Center Automall earlier this year. Team Subaru moved from its location on Cleveland Blvd. in Nampa, and picked up a new name: Treasure Valley Subaru.

[Idaho Center Mall was almost ‘Idaho’s Disneyland.’ What happened?]

Folks who decide to test drive a Subaru can still hit the roads and freeways of course, but find a good off-road spot in the middle of Nampa might not be as easy. So the dealership opened up a test track on site. The short loop features inclines, gravel, and other mild obstacles to give folks who might buy a Subaru a chance to test out the vehicle’s all-wheel-drive features.

The Treasure Valley Subaru location also features a car wash and detailing center (along with those shiny vehicles in rows etc.)

Treasure Valley Subaru is the sixth dealer at the Idaho Center Auto Mall. It joins dealerships from Corwin, Kendall, Bronco Motors, Edmark, and Peterson, which together sell new vehicles from than a dozen brands.
