Seafood lovers, rejoice! After putting construction on hold this Spring, construction resumes on Anthony’s new restaurant in Downtown Boise.
Located on ground floor of the J.R. Simplot Company headquarters on West Front Street, Anthony’s is planing to open its doors in December.
“With all the ups and downs over the last few months, we are excited to have a new restaurant to look forward to opening,” President Herb Gould said.
The Kirkland, Washington-based chain operates fine dining, fast-casual and to-go restaurants across the region and is known for its fresh fish selection.
The typical menu for Anthony’s features fresh-caught fish along with chowders, salads and steaks.
The Boise restaurant space spans 7,500 square feet inside and will include an outdoor patio space and an espresso bar.
“This opening has been a long time coming!” VP of Operations Amy Gould-Burns said.
The restaurant will start hiring in October.
Anthony’s Restaurant operates more than 30 locations. There is also an Anthony’s Anthony’s in Coeur d’Alene.
