In Canyon County, the first early voting location is O’Connor’s Field House in Caldwell. This polling location opens on October 13, and the other four are set to open October 19.

Canyon County officials say they expect to have almost 600 poll workers, and if, for some reason, poll workers get sick or are unable to make it, they are confident they will not need to shut down any polling locations.

The following locations are available for early voting:

  • O’Connor Field House – S 22nd Ave, Caldwell, ID 83605 (Opens for early voting on October 13)
  • Celebration Church – 2121 Caldwell Blvd, Nampa, ID 83651 (Opens for early voting on October 19)
  • Oregon Trail Church of God – 23057 Old Hwy 30, Caldwell, ID 83607 (Opens for early voting on October 19)
  • Melba Valley Senior Center – 115 Base Line Rd, Melba, ID 83641 (Opens for early voting on October 19)
  • Notus High School (Old Gym) – 25260 Notus Rd, Notus, ID 83656 (Opens for early voting on October 19)

Idaho in person, absentee voting

You can also vote in person on November 3rd from 8am-8pm. Find traditional polling sites at IdahoVotes.gov.

The deadline to register to vote online has passed, but you can register to vote at any early voting location and on Election Day. You can still request your absentee ballot until October 23 by 5 p.m.

Absentee ballots have to be returned to the Elections Office or in any drop boxes by 8 p.m. on Election Day. Idaho passed 1 million register voters on October 9 just before 4 p.m.
