Dan Smith, the founder of Recipe 33, took home the $20,000 cash prize and shelf space at Albertsons.

Smith’s late-night snacking while studying when he was in school inspired him to create a healthy, clean snack.

The snack? Infused almonds.

When Smith says clean, he means ingredient-wise – and literally. The almonds have no artificial flavoring, and they don’t leave a powdery mess on your hands.

The company has five flavors; black truffle, stocky serrano, cinnamon vanilla, lemon rosemary and garlic dill. Each almond flavor has five ingredients or fewer.

There are 4 ounces and 1-ounce packages. The bigger size retails at $5.99, the latter retails at $1.49. In two-and-a-half years, Recipe 33 has brought in $248,000 in revenue.

You will soon be able to purchase Recipe 33 infused almonds at an Albertsons near you.
