Townhome subdivision proposed for single-family site in NW Boise

A developer hopes to build 14 townhomes in place of a single-family home in NW Boise.

Wiseco LLC of Boise applied for several permits to build the project at 3435 N. 33rd St. in Boise, near Forsythia Drive.

Developers plan to arrange the townhomes in configurations of three-to-four units per building.

Each home would include three bedrooms and a two-car garage. The first floor would feature the garage in the rear of the home, with an open living, dining and kitchen area toward the front. The second floor includes the three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a bonus room, as well as laundry area. The townhomes would feature a roof deck on the third floor.

“High-quality materials include brick siding, exterior plaster, horizontal wood grain siding, vertical board and batten siding, metal awnings and a sophisticated color palette,” RiverRidge Engineering wrote in an application letter.

The developer hopes to win approval from the City of Boise for several variances, including a rezoning of the parcel to allow for increased density.

A Boise Planning & Zoning hearing is set for December 14th.
