Sid’s Garage, a Meridian restaurant that prides itself on “full throttle comfort food and beverages,” will open a new location in downtown Boise.
The menu features gourmet (and Instagram-worthy) milkshakes, locally sourced burgers and a selection of craft beers and champagne.
Co-founders Will and Nicole Primavera opened the original location inside The Village at Meridian last fall.
And despite opening during a pandemic, Will Primavera says business at Sid’s Garage has been going very well.
“We’re fortunate,” Primavera said. “You know, we believe we have a great concept and the majority of our product is local. A lot of local beers, ciders and ice creams in a fun environment executed pretty darn well. We believe the response from the local market has just been overwhelmingly positive and we couldn’t be happier and more blessed.”
This success allowed for an expansion.
Primavera is opening another Sid’s Garage in Boise on 10th Street and Main Street.
“There’s actually quite a big patio and it’s a two-sided patio,” Primavera said. “And then inside, we’ve got quite a few new additions to the decor to say the least. We are gutting the entire interior and then putting our spin on it.”
The new Boise location is where a Good Burger used to be but closed last November.
Primavera says he is excited to bring what he calls a fun and tasty experience to downtown Boise.
“Our goal is to stimulate your senses, all of them not just your taste buds, and an environment that maybe takes you away from some of the other stuff going on in the world. Food and beverage should be fun. So, if we can do all that while supporting local we are doing some good.”
The Primaveras expect to open Sid’s Garage in Downtown Boise in mid-May.
