We’ve had a flurry of questions about construction activity along E. Amity Rd. in Boise near Hayden Beverage.
Construction crews started moving dirt in recent weeks. The project will actually expand Hayden Beverage to the east.
Hayden moved into the former Weyerhaeuser plant on Amity in 2016. The old tech. center for the lumber giant saw new life as a warehouse and distribution center spread across 175,434 square feet.

Hayden distributes dozens of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages from Alaska Brewing Co. to Zenwater. Its portfolio includes local brands like Boise Brewing and Cinder Winery as well as national offerings like Heineken and Red Bull. The company’s roots date to the 1930s at the end of prohibition.
The remodel project will add about 57,400 square feet of additional space to the warehouse along that east side, styled to match the rest of the building. The space will allow for additional storage of wine and beer products, according to an application with the City of Boise last fall.
“In addition to the east expansion, Hayden Beverage Co. is proposing to move the current employee parking access drive from the east side of the parcel to their existing drive access that is on the west side of the property, allowing for further future expansion to the east at a later date,” Jason Hibbard with Hansen-Rice wrote in an application letter.
