You Asked: Here’s what’s going up at Ustick & Milwaukee

There’s a new project popping up at Ustick Rd. & Milwaukee St. Another project.

In 2019, we told you about a project to replace the Reggie’s Veggies outdoor market with a new indoor market and townhomes. That project is underway on the southeast corner of the intersection.

But construction recently started across Ustick on the northeast quadrant of the intersection as well. It prompted several questions to BoiseDev about what crews started building.

New ICCU branch

Idaho Central Credit Union received design review approval and a conditional use permit to build a new branch on the site in late 2018.

The 4,350 square foot office branch will include a three-lane drive thru on the 1.45 acre lot. The building permit says ICCU will spend just more than $2.5 million on the project.

Idaho Central continues to expand its network of branch locations. It currently operates 41 branches across the state, with the latest location opening lat December in Moscow. It also recently launched a branch in Star, inside Saint Alphonsus Boise and plans to replace its Downtown Boise branch with a new office project and updated banking location.
