New pizza eatery with Indian influence to open in old Boise Pizza Hut

Want a gluten-free, dairy-free, egg-free pizza with veggies?

Yeah, they’ve got that.

PizzaTwist will open its first location in the northwest in Boise at 1505 S. Broadway in the former Pizza Hut spot at Highland St. The franchised chain offers pizza with Indian flavor influences.

PizzaTwist features a broad menu, with traditional pizzas of course, but a diverse array of options to switch up crusts, cheese, and sauce options to adapt pizza to different dietary needs. A series of halal options include lamb kabob, tikka, and tandoori chicken. They also offer pizzas with paneer cheese.

In the more traditional pizza vein, PizzaTwist offers more than a dozen sauces and more than thirty toppings on regular or thin crust.

A line of pastas include penne meatball, Alfredo chicken and a paneer pasta. Side dishes include wings, garlic bread and even tacos.

PizzaTwist started as Chicago’s Pizza With-A-Twist with a single location in Sacramento, CA in 2014. It expanded, starting to franchise in 2018 and now counts nearly 40 locations.

An opening date for PizzaTwist Boise is not yet set.
