Homes, apartments

According to the project description, the large single-family houses start at 3,416 square feet. The townhomes range from 2,334 square feet to 3,704 square feet. Centerville townhomes come with two-car garages.

The apartment buildings on the north side of the subdivision would be made up of 12 one-bedroom units, 96 two-bed units, and 214 parking spaces, with 108 of them covered. The south side would have 60 two-bedroom units and 144 parking spaces with 60 covered.

The daycare would be near the multi-family area of the subdivision. The application letter says the daycare would provide a “commercial component” to the subdivision.

“(The daycare) complements the development and provides essential services to residents of the entire Centerville Community,” the application letter said. “A playground area and picnic area are provided within the northern portion of the multi-family area. Pedestrian pathways link the amenities to the eastern portion of the project.”

In addition to the pool and clubhouse, the subdivision would have several other amenities, including a playground, picnic area, a gazebo, and walkways.

Centerville subdivision is close to South Meridian YMCA, more housing, and Hilldale Elementary School.

The City of Meridian has not set a hearing date for Centerville Subdivision.
