ACHD is looking for feedback on a Meridian intersection

The Ada County Highway District is looking for your feedback on an updated intersection design in Meridian.

ACHD is working on improvements for Fairview Ave. between Locust Grove Rd. and Eagle Rd. to help with traffic and to make it safer for users. According to ACHD, the intersection has had 388 crashes from 2014 to 2018.

ACHD first reached out to the public in 2020 about this project, and after receiving feedback, an updated design list was formed.

The project would expand Fairview Ave to three lanes in both directions with a middle turn lane, add lighting, install raised bike lanes, add gutters, sidewalks, and curbs to areas that do not have any, and upgrade pedestrian ramps.
