In 2019, Starbucks moved its coffee shop from the corner of Veterans Memorial Parkway and State St. to a new building just more than a mile away.
Since then, the old Starbucks building on the busy recently-revamped corner sat empty.
Now, construction crews are at work in the building at 3809 W. State St. – and a BoiseDev reader wondered what was planned.
[You Asked: What’s going up on the site of the torn-down school?]
According to permit records filed with the City of Boise, Boise Premier Dental will open a new office in the building. No, you won’t be able to get a drive-thru root canal, but crews will thoroughly revamp the 1,692 square foot coffee cafe. The old walls and fixtures will come out, and a new dental office will go in. The permit values the work at $255,800.
State of Idaho business filings show Boise Premier Dental is owned by Maryam Moghaddasian. Dr. Moghaddasian formerly worked at Meridian Smiles Dentistry.
