Vote for the coolest thing made in Idaho


Last year, BoiseDev told you about the coolest thing made in Idaho. The winner of the 2020 contest? Black Sage’s Sawtooth – a device designed to detect, identify and take down drones using radar, infrared imagers, and radio frequency detection.

Every October, theIdahoManufacturing Alliance takes nominations for the coolest thing made in Idaho. This year, anyone can vote for the nominated products from October 21st through October 28th.

Nominees are broken out into categories including recreation technology, food & beverage, industrial products, consumer products, and advanced technology. An elevator smoke containment systems, potato chips, and a toilet seat are just a few examples of the products nominated.

The alliance will announce the winner on October 29th. Check back with BoiseDev then to see the “Coolest Thing Made in Idaho” in 2021.
