Candy, jewelry, more: New local marketplace set for State St.

A new year-round market offering a wide variety of goods is opening on State St. in Boise later this month.

The State Street Marketplace, which was formerly a furniture store on 5714 W State St., has been converted into a space that can accommodate more than 40 vendors. Owner Dillion Robbins says the marketplace artisans will be selling food, beverages, jewelry, and artwork.

“I believe this will be the first market in the area that’s open year-round,” Robbins said. “They have weekend-type markets at the Expo Idaho Center but this is permanent.”

The Idaho Fudge Company, Flüf Candy, and Alma Jewelry are several of the marketplace tenants. Robbins says there are still a few more spaces for vendors. Anyone interested in being a tenant can call or text Robbins at 208-350-0241.

State Street Marketplace will open on October 27. Regular operating days will be Wednesday through Sunday.
