New ‘flagship’ D&B Supply to open in Caldwell and replace old location

D&B Supply broke ground on a new Caldwell location Tuesday.

The new store is located at Noth Ranch Business Park near the corner of Highway 20/26, about 1.5 miles from the current Caldwell shop on Cleveland Blvd. The news release said the existing supply store will move into the new store in Spring 2023.

This is Ball Ventures Ahlquist’s first ‘large-scale’ project in Caldwell.

“We could not have picked a better partner to kick start the North Ranch development with than Mark Schmitt and D&B,” CEO of BVA Tommy Ahlquist said. “North Ranch is BVA’s first large-scale development in Caldwell, and it’s fitting that the same city where D&B began will now host their largest ‘flagship’ store. We are eager to continue to work with the great city of Caldwell and expand BVA’s and D&B’s partnership into the future.”

The news release said the new location will offer many of the products that can be found at the Cleveland location plus with the extra space, new product lines will be added. The western supply store sells farm and ranch supplies, power equipment, animal food, and more.

“D&B was born and raised in Caldwell,” President of D&B Supply Mark Schmitt said. “We’ve been serving the community here since our first store was opened in 1959. Now with 98,000 square feet and 13.4 acres, this store will be built to help us better serve those who love the land and the animals they care for in and around the Caldwell community.”
